Play Your Role in Dallas History

The completion of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts will be a defining moment in the history of Dallas. It will be documented in the record books as the largest cultural initiative in Dallas and the southwest as well as the most significant performing arts complex to be built since New York City's Lincoln Center. The realization of a 30-year dream of a complete and unified Dallas Arts District will culminate with the October 2009 opening of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. The Center will offer residents and visitors alike a world-class arts and entertainment venue featuring diverse and celebrated performance programming on an almost daily basis.

The campaign to raise the $338 million necessary to fund a project of this magnitude began in late 2000. As a result of the extraordinary vision and generous assistance of numerous Dallas families and organizations, we have achieved nearly $295 million of our overall campaign goal. This in its own right is a historical milestone, but we cannot take our final bow yet. With your help, we can achieve artistic excellence and put Dallas on the cultural map by combining our legendary "Can-Do" attitude with our strong commitment to community service.

You can play a vital role in this momentous project by making your contribution to Dallas history. For every dollar given, 95 cents goes toward building costs, and donations at every level bring us one step closer to YOUR successful and thriving Dallas Center for the Performing Arts.

Step into the Spotlight.
